Depression

The world feels cold
My heart feels hollow
No dreams left to hold
I can barely swallow
The world disappears
Yet, there’s nothing to see
My thoughts bring me tears
My mind is despairing but free.



A Broken Heart

The world becomes a darkened place.
Walls form all around
A poor young heart without a trace
Of cheery beating sound.
A heart may be mended
Though not in quite same way
By those you’ve befriended
Some how, some day.




Ignorance is bliss

Ignorance is bliss
Without it the mind may wander
through perpetual darkness
Where life seems hopeless
And hope turns to nothingness
Support becomes meaningless words
Friends become just people
in your mind you are alone



Loss of a Friend

The loss of a friend feels so cold
The kind of pain that never grows old
You tell yourself you never truly gave up
but deep down inside you know that time is up
Hope soon begins to fade til it comes to an end
Sadly, some friendships, I suppose, may never mend

I don't really know how I feel when I right them, my word slip from my tongue in late night lucubration, and through the efforts a poem is forged.
