So i know that all of you have seen movies where a group of theives, villians, or whatever other bad guys get together and perform a heist? I figured, what if we could take that concept, performing a heist, and make it into a RP?
So whats the problem?:
Easy. In the movies, the plot revolves around their Heist, and the performance of it. So what would the point of a thread be when its only about one big Heist? What happens after that heist?
Okay, so then they continue doing heists... but then where is the force pushing back? Is it just constantly them eluding cops, and getting money? Wheres the plot in that?
See, what i need is the main plot, the main story, something that is expansive, so that it never ends, or if it does, there are loose ends to pick up on... But i want it more revolving around motif and reason than a character or event.
kinda like leverage meets a soap opera... >.>
And then i don't want it to where it revolves around one crime group. I want it to be that people can have multiple crime groups for competition amongst the theives.
Basically i want an open ended crime thread... >.>

I like it. My brain's fried at the moment, though, so I have no ideas to offer. Sorry.

I'd consider joining if this worked itself into a thread.

You could make it about multiple crime groups warring against eachother

Yes, i've been watching more and more heist movies, and realized that i could work it out easy. The thing with most heists is their not suppose to let "emotion" in, which is why it was hard to make a plot... but i feel that if i can establish a betrayal i could move the plot to something with reason...
how's this sound?
A heist was pulled off that was considered the greatest heist of all time, makeing the thieves billionaires. However, at the last second, the entire team was betrayed and left for dead. Out of the original 7 theives 3 survived.
The Leader (AKA the betrayer), The Sister (AKA The Cop), and then my guy (AKA the Good Guy).
The leader, now giving up a life of crime has then become the most hard-to-touch crime lord of all time. Even the police can't get to him. This brings the motive to everyone.
Get him, and you can either become famous for beating the guy the police couldn't. Be rich, for stealing all the money he had. And it just opens the main sort of plot for most characters...
